Taipei Restaurants | Regent Taipei – ROBIN'S Grill | High-Quality Steak | Taipei Steakhouse Recommendation
When it comes to recommendations for high-end, high-quality steak in Taipei, ROBIN'S Grill inside the Regent Taipei is bound to make the list — it has always been a popular restaurant that's hard to book.
ROBIN'S Grill was founded when the Regent Taipei first opened, and the hotel has been one of Taipei's representative luxury hotels since the 1990s. The name comes from one of the hotel's founders, a man with a deep passion for high-quality dining and strict standards; the restaurant was named after him to commemorate his contributions.
I used to be quite fond of another steakhouse under the same Regent group, Just Grill at Eslite Xinyi. However, since Eslite Xinyi has closed, Just Grill is temporarily suspended, so this time I chose ROBIN'S Grill, which I had never tried before.

Steak is the focus, but there are also pork, lamb and seafood options. The lunch and dinner offerings are similar, though dinner prices are a bit higher. Like Just Grill, everything comes as a set menu: in addition to the main course, soup, dessert and drink on the menu, the salad bar and dessert bar are all-you-can-eat and self-serve.
🍽️ The Food
Soup and bread
Ribeye steak, 8oz
After-dinner drink — decent, nothing special
🌱 Salad and Dessert Bar
The salad and dessert bar area at ROBIN'S Grill isn't very large, and although the variety may not seem extensive, all the essentials — leafy salads and various toppings — are there, and the greens were the freshest and tastiest I've had.
The one drawback is that because the space is so small and the traffic flow isn't specially designed, everyone crowds in here right after ordering, making it quite difficult to get to the salads.

Beautifully arranged dessert section
The desserts were all quite tasty
Apart from the really poor flow at the salad bar, the overall experience and food quality were genuinely very good. It's just not cheap, but it's definitely one of the options to consider when you want to experience a high-end Taipei steakhouse.
