Tucked into a small alley on Ningbo West Street near MRT Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station is "HI NE NI", a bar that only opened in 2023 with a cozy, retro atmosphere. Besides its comfortable space, it also has an attic room where you can sit on the floor and watch movies, so drinking out can feel just as relaxing as being at home.

The interior follows the Mid-Century Modern (MCM) style, a look favored by many films and TV series from the 50s and 60s. The overall vibe is both retro and modern, so one step inside feels like walking onto the set of an American drama and traveling back to the 1960s.

Besides the bar counter, there are many small nooks—some open, some closed off—giving guests privacy and ease. Vinyl records play in the background, and the whole atmosphere is genuinely comfortable.
Up in the attic there's also a small space showing TV series where everyone sits on the floor, for a relaxed, laid-back mood.

🍸 Cocktails
Like most bars, HI NE NI rotates its cocktail menu with different themes over time.
Milk & Honey
Made with vodka infused with Peruvian palo santo, paired with muscat grapes and Fino sherry. Woody and fruity with a fairly full body—an intriguing flavor combination.
Late-Night Jukebox — Hi – Pop Sour
This one features Jin Xuan tea, lychee and kumquat over a gin base—sweet and tart with tea aromas and lychee fruitiness. A crowd-pleaser that's genuinely delicious.
